The Lord Who Watches Over You

He Keeps You Day and Night

by Kimani Upshur, M.Ed.

Psalm 121 is a song for the road and for the bedtime pillow: "I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills." Day and night, waking and sleeping, at home and away, the Lord who made heaven and earth watches over His children — He never sleeps, never looks away, never stops keeping. This book walks through the whole psalm, verse by verse, with a family learning it together: the Keeper who guards every coming and going, now and forever.

Written for children ages 6–12, this book has ten chapters, each with three illustrations (30 in all) and a "Do" activity and a "Pray" prayer to close. All Scripture is quoted from the King James Version (KJV). It ends with a Gospel Invitation that helps a child understand how to begin following Jesus, plus a note for grown-ups.
