The Gerasene Demoniac Made Simple

by Kimani Upshur, M.Ed.

Legion met Jesus — and left in a herd of swine. This Bible-first guide follows the most dramatic deliverance in the Gospels: the demon-possessed man of Gadara, dwelling among the tombs, bound with chains yet unbound, who met the Lord Jesus Christ and ended up sitting at His feet, clothed and in his right mind. Twelve chapters cover the authority of Jesus over the legion, the swine on the hillside, the town that begged Jesus to leave, and the freed man's commission to publish through all Decapolis how great things Jesus had done for him — plus fourteen reflection questions for personal study or group discussion.
