Naaman Made Simple

by Kimani Upshur, M.Ed.

Dip seven times — and the leprosy was gone. This Bible-first guide follows Naaman — captain of the host of Syria, a mighty man of valor but a leper — through 2 Kings 5:1-19: the little maid's faith, the useless letters of kings, the prophet's simple command, the general's rage at the Jordan, the servants' wise counsel, seven dips that restored his flesh like a little child's, and the great confession: "Now I know that there is no God in all the earth but in Israel." Twelve verse-by-verse teaching chapters show how the God who cleansed proud Naaman still cleanses humble sinners through faith in Jesus Christ — plus twelve reflection questions for personal study or group discussion.
